Help. 5.0 striker with gtk 1000

Took the car to the dyno yesterday. Car made 518/505 on 13psi with 13*,timing. This was through a 4r70w with what we think is a loose converter. The problem is we bumped it up to 15psi and more timing with no gains. Also getting a lot of smoke on decel. Any ideas? Could the wastegate be dumping boost at a certain level. It only made 15psi and we even bumped up the boost controller to 17 and still only made 15

what spring are you using in the wastegate? it could be creeping open. what rpm does the power start leveling out? are you running a draw through or blow through maf setup? it could be a back pressure issue. how big is your downpipe and what exhaust setup are you running?
