I have broken 2 T56 tranny's in 2 months now. Both of them were stock tranny's with 26 spline input shafts, and both of them have the same issue. On the first one I was on the street racing another car and went to slam into 3rd and nothing but clink clank and I lost all gears but 4th. I would move the shifter and the tranny would not do anything or engange unless in 4th. The next tranny broke at the track, this time slamming into 2nd gear and the exact same issue, nothing but 4th gear. The car has a spec twin disk for a clutch, and as far as power the car is a TT car. I was only running on pump gas (dyno'd at 761) both times. I havent torn apart either tranny, but does anybody have any thoughts or ideas on wtf is going on or what happened? Is it too much power? Shifting too hard? I just dont know. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Contact RPM Transmisson's...they got what you need bro. Stock T-56 is tough but your laying down some serious power.
^^+1 I broke the 3-4 shift keys apart. Pullied heaton. Time for a real tranny.
