Well, just got back from WFC 9.... (for those that arent familiar, i run a Hellion kit @ 8 psi w/ 12 degree timming) Drive the car 250 miles to WFC...

car is stock minus the solid axle (still 3.27 gears) slicks and the kit....

Went 11.350 @ 122 ... backed up with a shut down pass of 11.356 @ 112
60 foot was 1.594 & 1.602 did i mention it was 90 degree's and humid..

Most other competitors in Mod motor ran Vortec / Prochargers... I qualified 4th of 27.... out of the other 3 Paul from pauls performance qualified 2nd with his car... Not sure what the other 2 cars had done..

needless to say, i am impressed and glad i bought this kit over anything else...

video's comming soon...

He on stock internals. Look at the torque. There's where the speed is coming from.

if I ever go boosted, Hellion it is!

Dirty, dirty, dirty!!! Shame- shame.

Obviously you don't need a huge inlet pipe with those numbers but why do they make them so dinky?

Less pressure drop and higher velocity. Think of all the tubing that goes in to putting a turbo system together. By dropping pipe diameter you can drop the cubic volume of the pipes by quite a bit. The fact that the turbo doesn't first have to fill more volume before creating pressure at the intake means you get faster spool.

if you call my rev limiter a 2 step.. lol

We threw on a quick tune.. gonna go back and have them tune in a 2 step at 3500 4500 5500 rpm and possibly adjust fuel so i can be closer to 12.0 rather then 11.3 a/f

wow! So you ran the above 1/4 time without a 2 step? Thats killer!

What are you doing for a 2step? 2 msd and 4 tach adapt.?

BUT.. i did launch on the rev limiter.. so its almost the same thing.. (it practically is)

I am gonna have a 2 step function programmed in my SCT
MSD: None.. gonna run stock ECU until it cant take anymore, then ill go to FAST
and tach adapter? Whatcha need that for.. when the car sounds like its guts are gonna explode you shift lol

and yes, i am 99% sure i was the only true blue cobra even racing this weekend

U dont understand what Im saying.

You dont want to use the SCT 2 step because the sct pulls fuel out.. you need to run (2) msd dis 4s and (4) tach adaptors, this system pulls out timing not fuel. As you can see, this wont be cheap. Also, Ive heard that there is over 10 hours of soldering and is a real PITA!

SCT tach adapter?

You talking about the neutral rev limiter used to act as a 2 step?
