I have recently been working with Fulcrum Aeroworks testing their newest products aimed at the Fox body. At first I installed their new accessory drive that eliminated the factory tensioner and bracket. It also relocated the p/s pump and alt. further down. This was important because without relocating the accessories, you would not be able install this new hood vent. It is made of carbon fiber and works on any hood that has the same width body line as a stock hood. It especially works well with stock style hoods. Reason being, it allows more open area on the radiator hence improving cooling. I recently installed mine and wanted to share it with you all.

I recently went to Homestead Motorspeedway for a weekend to test the new hood mod. I found my temps to be 20-25 degrees lower than before. Sessions were about 20-25 minutes long and track temp was above 100 at times. So now instead of having water temps upwards of 225 degrees, I run full speed around 190-200 degrees. Oil temps top out at 217 versus the 230'-240 from before. This thing works. So if you track your fox and you need cooler temps, this is an option for the willing.

Here are the pictures.

very nice, thanks for the pics! Can you post more of the PS and alt brackets? I am planning to do a hood like this on my 93R, however i do not want to have to remove the factory brackets.

what about the 2010-2011 gt500 heat extractor insert? I have seen a few on fox bodied track cars, they do fit and do not look bad. It is somewhat universal, but not as effective as this.
