Headunit Question (Double Din)

Hey guys,

I got a Kenwood Doubledin headunit for chirstmas and I started doing research on how to put these in our trucks since I have to manually cut the back piece in the dash. I was wondering if when I do that will I ever be able to replace the stock radio back in? Or will I be stuck with just using my double din forever. The reason i ask is because of possibly selling my L down the road.

The mounting plate you're concerned about will have to be cut down to fit, but finding a replacement is easier, and LMC Truck has them available.
