Heads?

So I blew a plug out and a local mechanic tried to drill it out and fix it but he made it worse..
So now I have a bad head..
Im wondering what other heads would interchange with the lightnings.
I read on an f150 forum that all 4.6/5.4 heads are the same..
What years of vehicles had the 8 thread design?

I'm running a set of 03 Mustang PI heads I picked up for $200 for my truck. Mustang and Lightning valve covers differ in bolt pattern from 11 bolt to 13 bolt. Only difference...
