headlights...how to disassemble?

Hey everyone. Just a quick question: Can someone explain to me the procedure for disassembling your headlights on a New Edge, without damage to the lens or housing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could just use a heat gun, and then pull the apart.... that is what we do
