header fitment question

Is there an advantage to running 2011 headers? Are they an upgrade?

Ask Tob, think I read where the outlet is a little larger. 2011 have a 2 3/4 exhaust compared to the 2 1/2 inch on previous years. Think Tob did a side by side comparison. He's the quality and control check Guy for Ford.

i have a complete system for a 2011 or newer car, and mine is 2010(sameish as 2007-2009). i got a good deal on some arh longtubes for a new car and just bought a complete cat back system from magna flow. the difference is in the mid section and cat-back, in addition new cars had 2.75" as opposed to our 2.25

Are you referring to aftermarket headers? Or the factory manifolds? The factory manifolds are exactly the same if so.
