Head cooling mod question

When doing a head cooling mod what would be the benefit in putting it in the back of the head between firewall and head vs putting it up top at the back of the intake

Mine is the evenflow one that goes up by the intake. Can't see it, I have run all mine the same way.

Mine is the same as his... Evenflow HCM, can't even see it. I went as far as having my Xover welded with a custom bung so I mounted it underneath to hide it even more.
