head and cam help

brand price what mods will i need to support them, just dont wanna blow a plug plan to build motor someday, was thinking something stage3, it would be nice to reuse on my full build. :burn:

i have done my homework, but where i dyno the guy said if i go level 3 then i will have to modify the block or something to that extent i know how to use the search button but what i looked at did not help me

Gets old hearing the use the serch buttom doesnt it, I would strongly suggesting that you give JJ @ Woodbine a call and discuss your plan for the L, if there is one thing he will do is give you the info you need to make a educated decision!!! I have never heard that block Modifications have to be done with stage 3 heads either!

I think the valves on stage 3 heads are too big to clear the stock bore.. Id look into the new Trick Flow heads, they do well on LS1s (I know, COMPLETELY different) But its the only aftermarket casting that im aware of, and they might just flow better.
