Having some dry nitrous issues with my new return style fuel system. Help!

I have a window switch activated dry Edelbrock nitrous kit that I haven’t tried using in a little under a year until last week when I went to the dyno for tuning on my motor set up and decided to try using a small shot of nitrous and I purged the system and nitrous was in the lines and everything seemed to be in working order had proper pressure. Well the guy running the dyno turned on both the arming switch and bottle heater but nothing happened. The nitrous never activated and entered the motor. I have everything installed in the passenger side fender for stealth, and light amounts of water could have got on some of the system components. Nothing was changed since I went to return style fuel system. What I’m asking is, what are some things that I can check to make sure everything is running properly? Could the return style fuel system have something to do with the issues I’m having? Any extra info would be great...
