Have You Noticed The Spare Tire?

I just found out today that my spare tire is not a Goodyear F1 but a BF Goodrich Radial Longtrail up under there. :dw:

Anybody else notice that. :shrug:

And it's a 16in steel rim. Ford wasn't going to spend the $$$ for another 18in wheel and tire.

You're right. When I was running F1s they were always catching nails and screws and stuff. :bash:
Haven't had that problem with the Toyos(knock on wood). :beer:
I'll NEVER run F1s again. Treadwear absolutely sucks. :bash:

Yup. I've had 3-4 flats. Always screws and nails, and I never go over the middle of the road or over the white line.

Eagle f1's are crap... Had nothing but trouble with mine, finally got rid of them and bought the Toyo's. Seem to much better tires so far. I for one won't spend the money for over priced and over rated F1's again.

F1's are like gum, they hit the ground and they pick up everything, i popped one but had 2 with shit in them, wont buy them again

F1's are great handling and good ride, but I also think they are crap. I had two tires dry rot at 15,ooo miles and the dealer would do nothing about it other then pro-rate another set of full priced F1's. These things rotted so bad that they would both go flat over night.

I also had to use the spare on the front. Oddly enough, with the sidewall on that spare, the front sits level.
