Hatch Keep Popping Open

My hatch keeps popping open when I go over bumps.

I thought it might have been the bushing that had long since broken, but I replaced that and it's still popping open.

Anyone know what I can do to solve this problem?

It was happening before the bushing replacement (got at latemodel restoration) and is still happening with the bushing.

Do you have the rubber bumpers adjusted up too far?

Its not closing all the way. Is the stryker intact. May need to adjust it..

the striker needs to moved upward to allow the latch to fully engage.....Or the latch is ****ed up..

Thanks guys yeah I moved it up a bit and now it's staying closed... my only problem now is it rattles a bit. I think it's TOO far up now... but at least it's not popping open anymore.
