Has anyone's 3rd brake light stopped working?

A friend told me the other day about my 3rd brake light not working. Now that I think about it, I don't know if it has ever worked.

I was wondering if anyone here has had that problem. I am about to remove it from the spoiler so that I can try to figure out what is going on.

Before you spend the time to remove it cause its a pain check the power to it first.
