I was just wondering if anyone has replaced the rear wheel bearings on their fox body. I know for sure that mine needs to be replaced but was just wondering how difficult the job would be.
put it up on jack stands
pull wheels
pull brakes
pull diff cover
pull c clips
pull axle out
pull axle seal
use slide hammer to pull bearings
get a bearing driver to push new bearing out
new new seal in then go backwards from pulling axle out...
hints
use black RTV for the diff cover gasket
and dont forget friction modifier when putting fluid back in!
