Has anyone ever had this piece pop off?

The little black (I called it a grommet) that is on the throttle cable, right before it goes over the intake manifold. (look directly below the bolded th in throttle )

I was driving the other day and I floored it in second. When I left off the throttle stuck open, so I turned the car off and pulled over, popped the hood, and low and behold that piece was just kind of hanging there.

Problem is, I can't get it to go back in the hole (I've tried pliers and just pushing). Any ideas?

And for the record, that's not my motor, I stole it from the FAQ thread.

I'd have to go look at mine to see, but I'm at work. Does it have a lip that holds it in place? Sometimes you can put dawn dish soap on some of the rubber parts to get them to go into place easier.

Right after the dish soap if that doesn't work. Or I may do it anyway, my car has been looking pretty sexy lately.
