BMR isnt bad or horrible. Its decent quality, but is it competitive? If you get into their rod end/sphere end arms, they wont fail. But I was a little disappointed in how soon the ends needed to be replaced. Perhaps thats just a thing about rod/sphere ends. There are a few S197 specific things I bought that didnt fit. Rear tunnel brace with integrated drive shaft loop: ok with stock DS, needed grinding to work with aluminum 1 piece. S197 Trans mounted safety loop. Wouldnt clear aftermarket H/X pipes. No mention of that on their weebsite for either of them. Trans asfety loop was junk after a failed attempt to modify it. Rear tans tunnel brace required a lot of grinding to fit. Shit like those situations that really turned me off. Not to mention having poly bushings blow out during 1-2, and a 2-3 upshift, and the upper poly bushing blow out in the burnout box... I absolutely caveat my statements as "my own experience". But a LOT of really fast guys use and recommend UPR.
