Has anyone added cooling fans to factor 11-12 heat exchanger?

I have a 2011 that I'm putting a TVS on. I'm considering some cooling mods.
I know the metco dual with fans is probably the best option.
I understand my factory intercooler is fairly decent.
Would adding fans along with a larger capacity reservoir achieve close the same thing on my factory intercooler?
Just trying to save some coin, maybe its not worth it, but I'd like to hear some opinions.

The major difference between your factory HE and aftermarket ones is the design of the core. Dual pass vs single pass. That being said, a Spal fan with wiring kit is only like $90 total, so certainly worth a shot. If your sig is correct in that you're running E85, that should get the job done for you unless you're a serious racer. I'd say go for it!
