tubing thickness is .120 to .144.As for can you convert to a 6 point,no.What it is designed to do is mount your shoulder harnesses correctly when you do a harness system.STan

Ruslow puts out a GREAT product!! I had one before my roll bar went in and the fit/quality/craftmanship of his harness bar was excellent. GET ONE if you're on the fence.....
