Hi! I'm wondering if the new Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212 would be ok for street duty and light roadracing?? Is a tire better suited for autocross (more of a soft compound) or is it capable of dealing hot temps in track days?
Would BfGoodrich G sport would be a comparable/better choice? What about rain capabilities?

Thanks!

Dan,

If you're looking to do open-track events, look into the Falken Azenis RT-615. It will hold up to the heat a little better than the Hankooks.

The BFG is in a different class then the 2 other tires we talked about.

Thanks!
