Sorry to hear OP. I did just about the same thing as you during a thanksgiving day pickup football game this past fall. I braced my fall with my left hand and it didn't really hurt too much at the time. As a few days went by the pain got worse. The pain was in the exact same area you described. It was definitely strained ligaments and unfortunately it has taken me a ton of time to heal. I'm still feeling discomfort in my wrist almost 6 months later. My problem is that I tried to basically ignore the pain and continue on as if it wasn't injured...which probably made it worse and increased my healing time. I know you are a gym rat and I also go to the gym myself. I would suggest avoiding traditional arm curls altogether. I didn't, and it really set me back I think. I switched to doing basic hammer curls and pull downs...stuff like that to take the strain off the wrist. In a traditional curl form there is apparently a lot of pressure on those ligaments. When doing hammer curls there is no strain on them. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk
