I have a 2003 cobra. Getting sub frame connectors put on along with Irs diff brace. Was wondering if I should get dss half shafts or a Irs bushing kit. The car made 460 hp and 471 ftp torqe. Any suggestions
I have had level 5 halfshafts on my car before and ended up selling them because I built a SRA. Thats an option you can look at too. Bushings from FTBR are top notch but some people still have hop issues.
You need to think of how much cash you want to burn and know what your goals for the car. For an awesome handling setup with possible wheel hop go with the bushing kit. If you want no hop, good handling, less weight, and don't mind a stiffer ride go with an SRA.
In my opinion upgraded halfshafts are a waste of cash. They don't cure the issues as to why they break.
