Greg is in Cal too, so he is probably limited to 91 octane. believe it or not, rice formulation actually works on these cars. The higher the octane, the more aggressive the tune automatically becomes. I would really like to have a look at the timing logs between the different octane levels with all other things being equal.

If the Fords are like everything else, you will want to reset the ECU after filling up with higher octane and go beat on the car to get the timing multipliers to go up. They should stay high until there is a knock event.
