Guys with black tail lights

I want that look for my rio red but dont know if I should buy them or just paint them. Im talking about just the grills around the lights. just wanted to know what you guys did to change the color.

my buddy bought the covers from saleen and they looked sweet. they started fading after like 3 years so he popped them off and painted them and they looked even better, get the covers from saleen.

If they looked better after painting then why would he buy a new set?

Paint them and save yourself alot of money.

also, if you buy replacement bezels from ford, they come flat black.

but i'd just paint my stockers black with a satin clear cote

i totally agree. was never a big fan of it. i don't even like it on the Saleens from which they originated.

but hey, thats just my opinion.

I got mine from texas mustang and started to fade after a year. I like them better faded IMO.
