guys, tranny questions

ok, i have a 97 cobra vert. I know that it has the t-45, and that its prone to break. My question is, what are my options for replacement if i need to?

I know the 03/4 cobras have a 6 speed, is that the t-56? will it bolt right up to my car? would the 6 speed cause my speedo to be screwed up? (I have 4.10 gears also if that matters)

I know there is a TKO something also..what is it? Lastly, what is a ballpark figure for each of these.

alot of guys on here have t56 in there cars so iam sure they have a speed cail for them or somthing the t56 is more than likely ur best bet i have herad that the tko does not like too go in gear at high rpms

i just thought it would be kind of cool to have a 6 speed.

It will slow you down due to the ratios of first and second gear. Not necessary for a stock car.
