When you get comfortable with it look into swapping the trigger to an Apex trigger. I have an M&P 9 4.25in barrel. It's modded pretty good now but the first thing I did was swap the trigger to an Apex 3lb. Better feel, crisper break when pulling three trigger. Get an extended mag and then look at buying the Performance Center ported slide and barrel or any aftermarket brand. You can swap the sites too but I have always found the factory ones acceptable for me. I have really good basic firearms that everyone needs for a collection. CMMG AR that has been tried and tested, IWI Galil in .308 and both that and the CMMG can share a suppressor, and then I have my Benelli M4. I'm just working on stocking up on more ammo right now. If you got your guns already but you don't have a kit then I suggest you get a good setup because they aren't cheap either. I'd recommend TYR which is what I have, Crye Precision, or Eagle which is what the military typically uses. I've probably got about $2k into my body armor setup.
