Which do you think makes a bigger impact on follow up shots, the captured spring or a good compensator??? Currently run a compensator on mostly everything with either a HD or Flatwire spring buffer spring.
Not asking me, but…
a good comp makes a bigger difference… Fo sho.

Looks nicely worn. How old is that pistol? You did all of the mods yourself?
It's a p80, yes I built it. I did not do the cerakoted work. I dropped in the trigger already assembled as he sends them. I forgot when I finished it but I don't even think it's a year it's been finished. The "worn" cerakote look job he did makes it look that way.

How are you liking the trigger?

To be honest, I thought it would be smoother and lighter. Perhaps it's because I got their combat trigger instead of the comp one. I did want the long take up as oem in case I'm hunting and get excited.

It is like they described. I guess I was expecting a 1911 feel. It does use all oem parts and I beat the back of the gun on a table to see if it would "fire" and it didn't. So it having oem internals and still safe which is what I was after even though it's a range toy. The trigger shoe does feel better than the oem trigger itself.

Yep… combat will be a heavier trigger… for while under duress…. But it should be more crisp…

That it is. Crisp and smoother. VERY little reset as well. It's staying in the gun for now. I may move it to my g23 since that's my only Gen 3 but I currently like to have all my glocks with the same trigger. I wouldn't of switched this out but it has a China copy of an oem trigger and it was horrible.

It has finally arrived..... the Stealth Arm Platypus. I will go shoot it tomorrow. I am very impressed with the fit and finish of the gun as well as the trigger. Plan on using this an my indoor competition gun. One of the neatest things is that it uses Glock mags but has the 1911/2011 grip angle and trigger. I really love the grip width as well. You don't have the bulky grip that comes with a lot of the double stack 1911 style guns.

Very sweet. What lb trigger? Optic cut?

They are extremely nice and actually quite the bang for the buck in terms of customization/cost.

I went with the competition trigger weigh which is listed as 2.5 - 3lbs. However, I did 10 pulls on my trigger gauge and it averaged 1lb 3 oz. (Which I am more than fine with.) I got the new rmr cut that they just started doing.

That's an interesting gun. Best of both worlds.

So I put a dot on it and shot it today. Very pleased. It ran flawlessly. Shot better than the Staccato C2. The fit is better, the trigger is better, the recoil is less. It also shot my reloads which the C2 would not. (Only comparing it to the C2 that as they are about the same size and I really liked my C2) Very pleased with this gun. I had never seen one or held one in person before this, so I knew I was taking a gamble. I watched a couple of reviews from youtubers I trust and decided to order one. So far, I am glad I did.

I bought my Dad one for his birthday this year. The customization is awesome and the price is great for what you get. Fit and finish was perfect and everything fit very well. I haven't shot it yet but will probably take a Staccato C2 and P with it to compare.
