A nice day for some 200 yds with the 22-250 AR10. Just off the bipod. There was a light wind, so I didn’t adjust anything

Does anyone have any recommendations for a spotting scope to take to the range? Any pros or cons on angled vs straight?

With how well Athlon does for the money, my first choice would be their Cronus Product Description

Actually I'll take that back. I have zero experience with any spotting scope nor do I have with several to see which is superior. So with that said, I would try to find some non bias reviews. I would see if dark lord of optics has some reviews on spotting scopes. That dude is the bees knees on optics. And he isn't paid for by companies.

I have a Leupold spotting scope. Will have to dig it out to see what model. Only reason I have it is it was the old man's before he passed.

I can't speak for Athlon spotting scopes but I do own 2 of their rifle scopes and I am very pleased with them especially for the money.

Grip is way nicer than my g43...noy because of size...but texture. Glock did a nice job on the late g4s and g5s there

Plus this 19x came with 2 additional back staps

grip texture is decent enough… you can always mod to your liking….

You literally have the Stang 5.0 of the gun world.

19X is arguably the best shooting glock…. The trigger “feels” a bit nicer than the rest of the line up (stock)…

As well as a G43 but I’m thinking of buying a 43X frame and swapping the slide over to it.

Ah… G19 feels quite a bit different than the 19X… the longer grip on the X makes a big difference when handling it, especially for “duty”. There are also some other odds and ends.

That would work great. You’d have a G43X for like a $100 bucks. You will 100% love it. the extra grip on the 43X module makes a HUGE difference in the handling of the pistol.

Lol…. Oh bro, much much better. You’re gonna be one happy mofo when you get to break in that new pistol.
