So, golf balls at 100 and 150 yards is zero challenge with the RPR... so we switched to shooting golf tees and empty 300 Blackout brass at 100 yards. Still owned the range. Next time, we are going to bring some 16 nails and some boards. We're going to try to hit the head of the nails at 100 yards.

The RPR is a nice rifle. Which caliber do you have ?

Try hanging an aspirin etc from a string.

This is what I use, but after 1100 I can't keep a group at all.

All of my experience so far has been using the "walk-in" method for finding my target. I recently started studying "first shot" long distance shooting. Right now I am building a DOPE chart. Its reading the environment, 20-30 minutes of math and hoping not much changes before you pull the trigger once.
Once you get to distances beyond 600-800 yards, things like your heart beat start to play into the shot you're taking. Beyond 1,000, subtle 1 to 3 mph wind changes can shift a bullet just enough that you end up with scattered shots.

It's a pain, but this year I hope that I'll learn to come in cold and shoot sub-minute groups at 1,000 yards.

So... some of this is a little slow, but most of it is interesting.

You will see a few AR mag dumps, the RPR is at the end, with my son shooting. Also, my buddy shooting my 300 Blackout. Just to give you an idea of how well the can helps with hearing protection, the camera is 2 feet from the muzzle and you can hear the steel plates ringing down range better. And the plates are 150 yards away.

My buddy had his 11 YO son out with us. The young man did excellent!

We had over 40 firearm with us, but the firearms featured in the video are:
Panzer Arms AR-12 Shotgun
SIG 516 Patrol 5.56 NATO
CZ Scorpion Evo S3 9mm Pistol
AAC 300 Blackout SBR
Savage Arms Mark II 22LR
Uberti clone of Winchester Model 1866 “Yellow Boy" 45 Colt
Ruger Rescission Rifle in 6.5 Ceedmoor

That’s very responsible of you.

But let it out one day to kill David Hogg.
