Tonight, I'm bringing my 2012 GT500 to see what trade in value will be as I'm looking at possibly getting a new Raptor. The particulars: 2012 GT500, SVTPP, black red stripes, recaros, and navigation. Tires are Michelin Pilot SS As3 in stock size with 7+/32nds left. Paint correction done about 1.5 years ago then had a glass coating. Mileage sits at 27,409. It will be traded in with all stock parts. They literally have to do nothing to the vehicle as condition I would rate as excellent.

VEGAS BABY!
About 2k back of MMR, which is about 3k back of KBB, which is usually 2k under what you would want. So about 7k less than you were thinking.

If you get $35k, I'd say you are doing good on trade. I would not take less than $33k for trade. I would expect the dealership to start out at $30k.

I'm going to guess $25k. Stealerships are going to low ball and sell for the price thats competitive. I did see a '12 GT500 with suspension goodies for $30k. As much as I dont care about tracking a supercharged car, I bet it would be a blast hearing that whine. Not a blast getting passed by lighter NA cars though.

I tried to trade in my '13 GT with 25k miles and was offered $15k. If you're having trouble selling, try cars.com, autotrader and car gurus.

Depends IMO. Seems some places care about the Tasca airbag while others don't. Seen a couple hit the auction right away even though they are in perfect low mile condition.

I got ~38k for my 11 with 14k miles in 2015.

I say their final offer is 33k.

I can't see mid 20's when I see GT500's like the OP's for sale in the high 30's in the southeast.

The DSAB has been replaced, now waiting on the PSAB. I'd take $33K but not less. I like the idea of the Raptor, but at the end of the day it's another "want" vehicle not "need".

That is a $35-37k car private sale, so I'm going to guess they'll come in around $28-30k.

MMR is 32,000. There are 6 2011/2012 on manheim right now being wholesaled for 32,000-34,000 with 24k-30k miles.

Would expect 30-33k depending on how much they want the GT500. If it is manily a truck dealership they might not really want the 500 and could offer you 28k knowing they will sell the raptor to someone else.

$27,500. I'm not saying that's what it's worth just saying what they'll offer. Maybe $30k because they'll like it and you can use it all 4 seasons. Either way good luck.

Going tonight. I was supposed to bring it earlier this week, but weather was real bad around here for a couple of days. I'll report back once I have their figure.

Confusing on this.

Why are the 2011-2012 GT500's priced right around what people are asking for 07-09 GT500's? Doesn't make too much.

I thought the 11/12 models were still upper 30's, low 40's depending on mileage and condition.

used to be, not with the Shelby GT350 and the 2018 GT500 coming.

Private party values on 07-09 Cars are 25-28k for low mile cars now. Values are dropping :( Hell you can get a Trinity car now in the 40s

I am still seeing a lot of people on SVTP asking well over 30K for an 07-09 model and some dealers asking mid 30's with lower miles. I found one here in Chicago with about 8K miles on it for 39K.

I would hope OP could get at least 32-34K trade-in.
