I have a suede boot with a couple of cracks on the plastic ring. It still installs just fine. I bought it this way and had it on for a few months.

Also selling a center dash piece I bought for a potential ipad retrofit. Looks like the previous owner installed some type of knobs. The holes are 3/4" in diameter.
