I'm not very mechanically inclined, but I'm going to tackle on the project with a friend who works on cars, but they're usually older V8s. Can anybody point me in the right direction? All I found online is the following:

I'm looking for guides, or something like the Haynes automotive guides, they just don't make one for the GT500.

Also, any tips to make it easier?

Lastly, I'm now stuck between the McLeod RXT and the Centerforce DYAD. I've looked online, but I can't find much info on it. Most people tend to say the Centerforce is a better product when comparing the two, but nobody really goes into much detail. The GT500 is my daily driver for now, but eventually I'm going to throw more power at it when the time is right, and I'll have a daily driver by then. Can the Centerforce really handle all the power it claims? I haven't seen anybody using it in high power projects.

Hey Dizzy, those videos look like good references to walk you through it. The install should not be much different from any other car. What we can say is that having the proper tools for the job goes a long way, and saves you a ton of wasted effort. Things like a pilot bearing puller, etc can be rented from most local auto parts stores.

Our DYAD system would be great for your GT500. It was designed to bridge the gap between street and track applications. The fact that it can hold 1200+ ft/lbs to the crank while maintaining stock pedal effort makes it an appealing option for most owners looking to upgrade. If you happen to have any other questions about it, please PM us, or give us a call.
