Working with a 07 or 08 GT500.. looking to upgrade the factory blower. Thinking of going with the KB 2.8L mammoth or a Helion twin kit. We are leaning more towards the KB 2.8 but what should the supporting mods be? We want the most power possible on pump gas but yet be still streetable. I know the KB kit comes with a boost a pump but i'm not a huge fan of it.. do you guys recommend like a SCT tune or what? Would either option need an upgraded clutch or factory would be fine for an every so often full throttle? Any help much appreciated. thanks!

what clutch kit do you have? would the factory one hold for a while or not a chance?
I have the 2.8 LC and fried my clutch the first week. I upgraded to the RXT. You will want to upgrade your drive shaft too. I have stock injectors and the BAP with no issues at all. Agree with ZPorta on talking to Van. He's helped me a bunch.

There ya go. I haven't seen anything make that on pump, let alone with 91 octane ! Perfectly streetable. Stock cams, compression ration and engine. With the AFR's in the 9's, I'll be going back one of these days for more or make the same with lower boost levels. PM me if you'd like anymore details.

The stock clutch blows, you will need to upgrade it.
