What's the easiest way to get a hold of the tech manuals for our cars?

And don't say Helm or other websites that want $200 for a CD that doesn't work on any computer newer than 2000.

Set up an account on Motorcraft Service dot com and spend $22 for 48 hour access to Oasis. It's the same system the dealers use. Bung in your VIN and it gives you all the TSB's, recall status, and so on FOR YOUR CAR. Wiring diagrams, service manuals, DTC charts - everything - is there for every Ford vehicle, including yours. For $22 it's a bargain, and because it's browser based, you can print any sections you need.

Many thanks, the mods should pin this discussion. There's a discussion about it over on 6G and it starts with one of the crook vendors charging a fortune for 30 year old data storage and then 3 pages of geek debates about operating systems and external drives.
