GT 500 Clone!

To Clone or not to Clone?

I came across these pictures of a GT500 last night, and they took my breath away.

I have been struggling with what look to give my 2005 GT. I was wondering what you guys thought of clones? Now, before you go and flame me. I would not put GT500 emblems all over the car. I would just merely clone the body panels and wheels. I really really like the look of the GT500!!! And I was going to put those wheels, with the GT500 front brakes anyway.


So should I do it? Or not? Thanks for you input.

Heres my S197 GT350 tribute car with a GT500 front facsia and spoiler in Legend Lime. I'm on some other boards and the GT500 conversion is quite popular, I used GT350 retro badging.

Thanks for clearing that up, and sorry for the confusion. Yes, the link posted is merely the inspiration for wanting to clone, as it is the same color as my car.

No, 03silversvt. I posted it because the car is simply bada$$. And it has close to the same color as my car.;-)

Tungsten looks great on the GT500, but Tungsten and Mineral grey (the grey on the 05 Stangs) is very different.

I know of a site that sells the GT500 spoiler, for 230$ painted! i just bought mine.

How much did that front end run you? Also where did you get it? Did you have to modify anything to put it on?
