What gear was the bike in?
I have an 05 R6 and against my buddys KB 03 it was nearly even. We only ran once and with the bike in 3rd I was starting about 8k rpm. It was really flat until about 12-13k where I started to catch him. 2nd gear at about the same speed (65mph) I was running about 10k. Much improved starting point and he would not have stood a chance.

Nice, I would like to see how my Cobra would do aginst my 06 ZX6R, from a stop I know my bike would destroy my car

bout 65 to 120 the first run. . . i won by like 4-5 cars
bout 65 to 100 second run. . . only about 1-2 cars
after 100 it was lights out . . .
I went after a 636 the other day but I didn't quite have enuff. I kept up decent in 3rd and 4th but couldn't get him.
Bus legnts? You don't think he was actually trying do you? There is no way you would pull on any fuel injected 600 like that unless he did not downshift... or there was an overweight pig on the bike

Could have garbled up 2nd - 3rd shift, but he was all the way in it even after I slowed down and he passed me. Didn't mention anything of it at the light either.
my buddy had an 03 procharged cobra and he got walked by a 04 600rr. he made 649hp and 6.. tq. so it sounds like the rider didnt know what he was doing. i would put up my 05 600rr to anyones cobra.. they run 10.8 1/4 mile stock... he prob was in the wrong gear, anything under 6 to 7 thousand is to low for a 600. just my opinion

dude. . . its a low 11 sec bike usually . . . from a roll. . . I trap like most mid 10 sec cars . . .
you would be surprised if u think i or another 600+ wheel cobra wouldn't ass rape a 600 that's stock . . .

Granted, I was in my sweet spot RPM range.
But then again, you have to realize, 1 bus length is ~ 2.5 car lengths... So my race we're talking 5-7.5 car lengths... which isn't a lot in retrospect.
i just need a vid. on your last cruise in the STL a twin turbo cobra races a 1000 and the cobra lost. cobra was puttin down 800 or so on a street tune. idk. get me a vid so you can prove me wrong.
