Not bad but I dont want to drill holes in my hood or car. No matter how much I hate that hood prop.

I saw a car at Carlisle 2 weeks ago with them on. Very neat. CJ Pnoy Mustang parts had a set for 94-98's in stock at their booth, but told me they won't fit an '03. They do list a kit in their catalogue for about $75.00.

I didnt know they made anything like that. I've been wanting to make some myself just like that for along time. My friend has a f350 and they have the hood shocks like that and i was going to just buy the shocks from ford and fabricate my own setup.

Here's a pic after I installed the kit.
It works really nice...It's been over a year now..you can open the hood with one hand and when closing, you just lower the hood until gravity takes over....slam!

I would be interested...my prop doesn't fit very well. I have to giggle it to make it fit in the hole..."that sounds funny, huh"....:)

looks like 11 so far....let's go for 50 guys!

in addition to the improved functionality, it'll look great at car shows without that lame prop rod in the way

Hey JC.....I think when Sean (my03svtcobra) sees this he can let us know where we go from here

I don't see us having a problem getting 50 sets lined up
