I hear the grinding noise like the way brakes sound when bad. I notice it when im coasting in say 3rd or 4th around 30-45 mph in a straight line. Also when the car jerks I hear a slight quick rattle from back there as well. Strictly pro says it sounds like axle bearings. However, one person says hes done an axle bearing swap twice but never recalled a grinding noise. It cant be brakes cuz i just put them in and it was doing it before and after. Any insight? I know im not working with too much info but hell its worth a shot...

If the bearing is bad for a while before you catch it, the hub will actually start riding on the outer race of the bearing. This could make a grinding noise and also generate some heat. With that much metal / metal friction the rear wheel that is the culprit would be much hotter than the other after a drive.

Jack the back of the car up and check the rear wheels for play.
