hey guys ive been wondering this since i got the car 4 years ago, the intake has a greenish tiint to it, am wondering if this is common or if this thing somehow got some overspray or something like that(nothing else under the hood has the "overspray". Has anyone here ever redont their intake themselves? i might get it powdercoated back to silver/grey.

I have a few interior pieces that are doing the same thing.
I have considered powder coating my intake in almost chrome. Just haven't decided whether I should or not. That would be one of those non-reversible mods

I had my cobra intake (upper/lower) bead blasted, powder coated ceramic chrome and then powder cleared for $55 bux from my local powder coating guy. Heres a pic of it. I added a new plaque and it came out great IMO. The picture quailty isn't great so excuse that.
