I am new to this site but thought I would post my results from last Sunday 6/9 at Gateway in St Louis. I recently finally got the car done enough to take it to the track to see how it would do. I had every intention of just trying to make half ass passes to get the feel for the car but once I got on the track those good intentions kinda went out the window!!
1st pass I did a so-so burnout and and foot braked the car and left the line very timid. The car went straight and was pulling hard so I figured I stay on it and run it all the way out.....

needless to say I was pretty happy.
Next pass I tried to leave using the trans brake but had the 2 step set at 3500rpm. Again the car left very timid and really pulled well.

On the third pass my friends were urging me to leave harder on the trans brake. We set the 2 step at 4000rpm but I backed off the throttle before taking the green light so I didnt get the full benefit of the launch but the car still ran good.

Needless to say I was very pumped to break into the 9's on the 3rd pass ever for the car. I think there is much more to be gained by driving the car better which will come with more pracitce, i.e. more passes.
