There may be another engine offered for the 2011 model year or later, but Ford is being coy about that information.

I wonder if the base engine will become the 5.0L Coyote 4V since there are already rumors that it will replace the 5.4L 3V in the other models of the F150?

I saw that too. I'm thinking Eco Boost engine. I was reading Truck Trend the other day and Eco Boost seems to be the direction Ford is going with truck engines.
