Ok, took it to the Dyno yesterday and she put down 427 / 455 first pass. The guys yanked the carb, rejetted it, change the acelerator pump spring etc. and we went again. She maxed out at 437 / 460 while spinning on the Dyno. We tried changing tire pressure but still had a big wobble in the graph on all runs. Man that TH400 is eating a lot of power. They did get the A/F dead on and got rid of a nasty hesitation it had. I got a fresh pair of QTP's to put on today so maybe I can sneak back up there for another run or two. They figure she's making about 580 at the crank. Time for a manual shift valve body I guess. The shop thinks she'll bust 450 RWHP with the traction issue resolved, we'll see. Not bad for an N/A carbureted motor.
