ok i was installing the jlp thunderpipe and i dropped the fitting that goes to the vaccum line that goes to the boost accumulator. its the small line. my question is can i just leave it unhooked and putty the thunderpipe

Ummm does the line go to the boost actuator (cylindrical plastic piece that mounts on the side of the sc)? If this is the line you definately need it. This keeps the sc bypass open at light throttle.
were did this small line fall on to. probably under the intercooler, on top of the block..
You could go to your local autoparts store and buy the vacuum fitting that you need.
