I know I'm beating a dead horse with this thread. I have just over 10,000 miles on my Cobra. Took it in for an oil change this morning and the dealership said the tread wear on the rear tires are "dangerously" low.

I did some research into replacing the bald tires. To my amazement, the Eagle F1-GS tires have a "W" rating and cost $264.00 a tire. The Eagle F1 All Season have a "Y" rating and cost $162.00. Am I missing something? See the chart below.

Mileage Warranty UTQG 420 AA A Performance Rating 98Y Sidewall VSB $162.00 Each EAGLE F1 ALL SEASON P275/40ZR17 EAG F1 ALL SEAS 98Y VSB

Mileage Warranty UTQG 280 AA A Performance Rating 98Y Sidewall VSB $229.00 Each EAGLE F1 GS D3 P275/40ZR17 EAG F1 GS D3 98W VSB AATrax tread compound

Mileage Warranty UTQG 300 AA A Performance Rating 98W Sidewall VSB $264.00 Each EAGLE F1 GS P275/40ZR17 EAG F1 GS 98W VSB (OE) AATrax tread compound

The conclusion I've come to is the "AATrax" compound used on the GS/GS-D3 tires makes it more expensive. These tires must be stickier. From the chart above, the F1-GS wears less than the F1 GS-D3 but faster than the F1-All Season.

So who's running the Eagle F1-All Season tires on their Termy? How do you like it and how does it compare with the OE?
