Sorry about not resizing it, i didn't expect them to come out so large.

At any rate, I'm glad that someone is speaking out.

As I see it there are rights and wrongs on both sides of that fence. Yah the Prez should be more pro-american auto industry but some of what his advisors say is spot on. Amerian auto makers always has their head in the sand and it is not so much as building what the American people want it is building something that WORKS .. good quality, high value for the money and fuel efficient. They have never been very good at any of that .. and some of it can be laid directly at the CEOs feet and some of it can be laid driectly at the feet of the friggin unions ...

Well I don't know if I agree but, I found this comment curious:

"American manufacturers lead the industry for fuel economy in nearly every vehicle segment."

Maybe I'm just not thinking right now but, is that right?

I believe Mr. Congressman is being a bit liberal with that word.

All in all not a bad read.

I think he's trying to say that in every market, a domestic manufacturer has a version that is at or near the head of the pack, or at least at or near the equivalent foreign counterpart.

I would say that letter hit the nail on the head.

Maybe since it came from a member of congress, someone of importance will actually read it.
