How long do you think it would take for a shop (specializing in mustangs) to install Equal length headers and weld on the flanges that connect to the mufflers??
Tell me your standpoint on how long this would take because I just want to be sure they are not charging me for too much. they said it would take 5 hours. does this # seem right

I would say 4-5 hours for them. 8+ hours for the average shade tree mechanic.

4-5hrs for a guy that knows what he is doing to do a good clean job. With equal length shorties, the motor will have to come up a little during the install.
