I wanted one till I test drove one in summer down here. Even with the fabric shield, you could still feel the florida sun pierce through. Definitely a cool option though.

You can do clear UV blocking tint. Even a light tint would help in sunny climates.
Recaros and glass roof were the two must have options when I ordered my '14.
Good luck on your search OP, these are special cars and if you find a grabber glass roof car, don't haggle over a few thousand if it's the car you want. They're not making more and you'll never miss the few thousand once you own and enjoy it.
