I've pretty much narrowed my choices between the Borla ATAK and Roush Extreme Catback, however, I'll be giving Christian a phone call over at Power By The Hour just as you recommended. Thanks ;) Just keep in mind that Borla changed the design of their exhaust systems for the 2011-14 Coyote 5.0 4v motors. This is more than likely the reason for your S-Types having zero drone. However, the S-Types produced for the 2005-10 4.6L 3 valve motors were from the previous design and well known for producing interior resonance drone. Anyhow, just saying! As I just mentioned to R@ceRedGT500's post above, Borla changed the design of their exhaust systems when the 2011-14 Coyote 5.0 4v came out which would explain the reason behind your Borla S-Type axle-back having zero drone. However, when it comes to the older 2005-10 4.6L 3v motors, the S-Type exhaust was from Borla's previous design and well known for producing horrible drone. I also know from personal experience that your absolutely 100% spot on about the drone issues as being worse when running an off-road mid-pipe vs the factory catted mid-pipe, as running an off-road mid-pipe will only increase the level of drone by amplifying the sound frequencies that produce resonance drone. -Rocky
