Going to dyno, had some ?'s

So I'm finally going to pulley/tune my car on 9-18. I just wanted to know how much timing you guys run. Its a pretty basic setup, but I'm getting a BF 2.76 pulley and idler, changing my plugs to either the ngk iridums or the autolite. ( I think my tuner said he recommended autolite xp103's?)

Only other mods on the car are JLT CF Ram Air and flowmaster catback. I'll be using a sct programmer.

So how much timing do you guys run. Also, do you prefer the autolite or ngk plugs?

i ran 19 degrees, which is even conservative.

my car still made 480rwhp/486rwtq on a mustang dyno.

it will feel like a different car.
mark those words.

what kind of gas do you have around? we have 93 in our area and i run 21 or 23* i cant really remember. but i wouldnt go over 19 if you only have 91 octane available. and i personally run the ngk trix6's. i dont know/havent heard anything about the autolites. probably cant go wrong with either one right now. go with what the tuner likes. congrats and he's right. its gonna be a whole new animal.

I'm in the Seattle area so we get mostly 92. Thanks for the input. I'm hoping for a noticeable gain.

i run the tr6's and im at 20* of timing with 91 octane.
your going to love it the new power. have fun!
