I'm trying to go back to the stock air intake after removing what looks to be a home made intake; the home make one's only identifiable words were... Buckhorn Rubber Products.

The car came with a filter box(2ru-9c662-ca) and a xr3u-9r504-bb parts to go back to stock. Both seem to be correct, but when I try to connect the mass airflow tube and sensor there is a visible gap between it and the filter assembly box.

This link shows a couple of pictures showing the gap.

And does anyone know the part number for the connecting hose from the valve cover to the intake?

There's a screen that goes there to straighten the air flow over the MAF. I haven't seen on in a long time.

Hate to Hijack a thread but does anyone know if the plastic tube part that extends into the fender is the same for GT/V6 models? My car is missing it and I was hoping to find one somewhere fairly easily.

I should have mentioned it along with the screen, but I found the hose part too. 286rocks, give mpssalvage a call... They were quite knowledgeable.
